Halloween...
Our plans involve work until 5 or so, rushing to the store to buy an overpriced bag of candy (although we were joking about handing out some of the 50 lbs of Idaho spuds that we just bought from your parents. Haha.), eating mummified lil' smokies for dinner, enjoying our first "real" trick-or-treating together (since last year the Provo area and our apartment complex was lacking in the kids department...), and later, spending time with my parents making caramel apples and playing some hand and foot. It'll be fun!

Political Insights from Jon and Friends
So Jeannine's family has a monthly blog with a monthly theme. This month's theme is Politics. Jeannine's sister, Rachel, is living in Scotland and mentioned that this was really the first thing she had heard about the elections and the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination. After reading Rachel's response to Jeannine's post, I found it interesting that while living outside of the U.S. of A. she has not been bombarded with the drama of the upcoming GOP nomination. It, of course, is not that surprising, nor goes it go against common sense... But then I got to thinking that the opinions we have about these candidates are views we have formed because of what we have seen on TV. I highly doubt any of us have met any of the candidates and that the candidates are who are they put off to be on TV and internet videos.
Therefore, the following are some of my favorite posts about the possible GOP nominees and prominent political figures, all of which are EXTREMELY SERIOUS and EXTREMELY FACTUAL.
